What is the difference between a basic treatment and advanced treatment?Our Basic treatment is 60 minutes. During this treatment, our clients receive three whitening treatments in one session! Your teeth will whiten 3-5 shades. This treatment is typically recommended for those who may have sensitive teeth Our Advanced treatment is our top booked service. This treatment is 90 minutes long. During this treatment, our clients receive four whitening treatments within one session! Your teeth will whiten 5-10 shades. This treatment is highly recommended for those whose never had their teeth whiten before.

Will there be damage to my tooth enamel during the process?Peroxide-based teeth whitening gels penetrate tooth enamel to lift stains within tooth dentin. This leaves the surface of the tooth enamel temporarily softened and pores open. Teeth are more susceptible to stains and erosion during this time and can also lose minerals at a higher rate during this time. We highly recommend the use of remineralizing gel immediately following a tooth whitening treatment.

Will I have gum irritation?Sometimes the gums will turn white and possibly even sting a little, particularly with a professional teeth whitening treatment. This is called blanching and is very temporary. Gums should return to normal within 5-20 minutes. Don't worry, we have something to apply to gums in case this occurrs. If you have severe irritation, either your gums are not healthy or you could be having an allergic-type of reaction in addition to the blanching.

What do I do if I experience tooth sensitivity?Although uncommon, some people can experience some tooth sensitivity called “zingers” during the first 24 – 48 hours after the whitening treatment. If you experience tooth sensitivity after the treatment, you can use Sensodyne™ toothpaste to ease the discomfort. Brush your teeth with this toothpaste until tooth sensitivity goes away.

What is a white diet?A white diet consist of only consuming white foods and white/clear drinks. If you wont be able to follow the white diet, it is highly sugguested to purchase our mineral pen. The mineral pen closes pores of your teeth, strengthen your enamel and alleviates any sensitvity. Most importantly, you will be able to resume your regular diet two hours after treatment!

How long does teeth whitening last?Depends entirely upon your own tooth enamel and on your everyday habits. However, you will become fully knowledgeable after your treatment.

How long is the process?Basic Treatments are 60 minutes Advance treatments are 90 minute Based on FDA guidelines, you cannot whiten for more than 90 minutes in one sitting period

Does it hurt?No. We service our clients use a blue LED light which won't burn your soft tissue being that its a cold light. Sensitivity is rare during the teeth whitening process but it may occur. If so, it will subside shortly after the process; if it continues, we suggest you utilize a sensitive toothpast. Lastly, we strongly recommend you visit your dentist beforehand. Have your dentist verify if you have any open cavities and also get a cleaning while you're there. This will allow you to receive the maximum result from your whitening!

How often can I whiten my teeth?After your first session, we recommend you get your first touch up within 4-6 weeks after initial service and then 6-8 weeks afterwards. After we've successfully trained your teeth to your desired white shade, we recommend you get a touch up every 4-6 months

Is there something I'd have to do before my appointment?Yes, we ask that you NOT brush your teeth 3 hours before your appointment. For example, if your appointment is at 12pm, the last time you can brush your teeth would be 9am; BRUSH SOFTLY! This is to avoid opening of your teeth pores and avoid any sensitivity. Also, we ask that you try not to consume stainage foods at least 24hours prior to scheduled appointment.
